Welcome to
Echo Lake Church!

Here’s everything you need to know
before you arrive this Sunday.

What is a service like?

When you come to a service, our hope is simple - you feel like you’ve come home. We’ll sing a few songs together, share some updates about what’s happening around the church, and then spend time in a message from a book of the Bible that's meant to be clear and helpful for the experienced Christian or someone who is taking their first steps in seeking God.  We usually close with a final song as a chance to reflect, and on various Sundays we take communion together.

<span style="color:var(--primary-color-bg)">What type of music do you sing?</span>

What type of music do you sing?

We sing a mix of newer contemporary songs, classic hymns, and some older contemporary songs you may already know. Our goal is to help everyone not just listen, but truly sing. That is our goal because God calls His people to sing, and because singing helps truth settle deep into our hearts, brings us together as one body, and turns our attention off ourselves and onto Him.

<span style="color:var(--primary-color-bg)">What is the teaching like?</span>

What is the teaching like?

Our teaching is rooted in scripture, centered on the gospel, and meant to connect to everyday life. We walk through the Bible in a clear and straightforward way so you can understand what it says and why it matters. Each message points to Jesus and calls us to respond, not just by learning something new, but by living it out. Our desire is that you leave encouraged, challenged, and growing in your relationship with Him.

<span style="color:var(--primary-color-bg)">who can attend?</span>

who can attend?

No matter if you are curious about God, growing in a long-standing relationship with Christ, or returning after years away from church, you’ll find a place here. We know life is full of all kinds of people, personalities, and stories, and that’s part of what makes church awesome. Whether you arrive in your Sunday best, blue jeans, or standing next to someone dressed like an oversized woodland animal, there is room for you here.

Got Questions?

We recommend arriving about 10 minutes early so you have time to find a seat and get settled. But if life happens and you walk in a little late, no worries  you won’t be the only one.

We won’t single you out or ask you to stand up or raise your hand. You can come in, grab a seat, and settle in without any pressure.

We have no dress code. Most people wear jeans, but you’ll see everything from casual to a bit more dressed up. Come as you are, you won’t feel out of place. Just don’t wear socks with sandals. We don’t want to encourage the pastor.”.

We will sing a few songs. Singing is just one way of showing how excited we are about Jesus.

Then we will dismiss our kids to their classes. Nursery and Pre-School is available from the beginning of service.

We’ll do some announcements and give an opportunity for regular attenders to support Echo Lake financially. If you’re visiting, we would love for you to fill out a Connect Card.

You’ll hear a message from God’s Word that you can relate to and more importantly apply to your life.

We’ll sing a final song before leaving.

We realize everyone is in a different place in their relationship with God. You are welcomed to sing as much or as little as you want.

After service we encourage you to introduce yourself to the pastor or ask for prayer. We also have the coffee house where we have some tasty treats and coffee available.
